Philip Reed needs your input!!! (Campaign Planner 3 Developed

Man-thing

First Post
I was at Phil's website today when I saw this:

When Campaign Planner 2 was released last month I was left sitting on a lot of very good ideas and suggestions for forms. So many, in fact, that I could put together a third release in the series... So, once again, if there are any requests for new forms speak up now. I've already got plenty but if any especially good requests come in I'll juggle the mix to fit the new ideas in.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now I know that a number of the suggestions I put in last time did not make it. I'm also sure that many DM's out there are in need of planning aids. If you haven't picked up the first Campaign Planner or the second this is what you'd find.

Campaign Planner I - Forms for: Tracking adventures used / House Rules / Books used / Race Adjustment Notes / Class Adjustment notes / Spell Restrictions /Campaign specific Equipment / Campaign time (calender planning) / Campaign Event / Gods in Brief / Georgraphic Overviews / Geographic Feature details / Minor Towns / Major Towns / Kingdom Info / Magor Npc / Minor Npc / Taverns / Shops / Guilds / Rumours / Unresolved Issues / Plot Hooks / Random Treasure Table / Random Monster tables / Minor Dungeon / Major Dungeon / Traps / Legendary Treasures/ Artifacts / Monsters of the Campaign / Notes

Campaign Planner 2: Session History / XP tracker / Adventure Outline / Site Based encounters / Event based encounters / Riddles and Puzzles / Dungeon Concepts / Hazards / Dungeon Entrance / Dungeon Maps / Custom Treasure table / Campaign Outline / Key Campaign Events / Campaign Climax / Kingdom Design (hex) / Major City Details / Minor City Details / Polyhedral World Map / World Religions / Overland travel map (hex) / Trade routes / Background Chatter / Secret Societies / PLanar Gates / Demiplanes/ Planes / Clerical Domains / Expanded Deity forms / Campaign Specific Domains / Monster Template form / Magic items in Character Possession.

Both came out in a pdf printable and a pdf form fillable format.

What else do people need:

I'm initially thinking:

Spell design form
Magic item design form
Monster Design form
Psionic Power Design form
Cursed item form
Ship / Airship form
Mech form (to compliment Dragonmech releases)
Artifical Hero Organizer (to compliment Artificial Heroes Handbook)
Kingdom management form ( like Strongholds and Dynasties)
War machine form
Mass combat/Army management forms

A form similar to the "Other 100 Points" in 7th Sea, basically a form listing adventure themes that the players spread 100 points over. The five used in 7th Sea are Intrigue, Action, Romance, Exploration, and Military.

The GM totals the points in each category that are given by each playe. So if Mike has 50 points in intrigue, 25 points in Action, and 25 in Exploration, while Su has 25 in Intrigue, 25 in Action, 25 in Romance, and 25 in Exploration, and Bob has 25 in Action 25 in Exporation, and 50 in Military the totals would be:

50 Intrigue
75 Action
25 Romance
75 Exporation
50 Military

You can tell that the group taken as a whole is not much into romance adventures, but creating a foil for Su might be a good idea, nor is the group as a whole into military campaigns, but Bob really wants one.

It can really help guide the creation of adventures for a campaign. The numbers I just quoted came from the sheet for a game I ran a few years ago.

Adventure Review sheet - a sheet to help the players rate how the adventure was, what its strong points and week points were, and how tough they thought that it was. Again something that can help the GM focus in on what will interest the players.

A sheet for listing the weather for the game week, and the phases of the moon(s). A weather table would be nice as well, but they can be found elsewhere. *EDIT* Never mind, he already has it listed. :)

Creatures of Legend sheet. The names of famous Dragons and other monsters that the PCs might have heard of, some of the things known about the creature, with a space for the Bardic Knowledge roll to know these things, and a tick box for true or false.

Artifacts and Magic Items of Legend, again a way of organizing what the PCs might know about a major plot item, with the name, what is known, what the Bardic Knowledge roll needs to be, and true or false.

A sheet to record items that the PCs are either having made for them, or creating themselves, the cost and how long it is likely to take in game time. Also good for Major NPCs when they are having things like castles created.

A sheet for Power Components (DMG p. 36), their benefit and the DC to find out about them.

Chase Complications - a sheet to record possible hazrds to pull out during a chase scene, and the skill or save and the DC to avoid it. (Two men carrying ladder across street, Ref DC 15 to avoid, Jump 25 to leap over...)

The Auld Grump, yes, I like forms.

The weather forms (three of them) include space for tracking the weather and rules for generating the weather. All you need is one form for your game session.

Man, I start to think I've got it wrapped up and more ideas come in. Looks like it might be time to add some more pages.

I'd be interested in some templates for creating SRD style stat blocks, or the abreivated stat block . It seems that when writing modules and whatnot I always take so much time firguting out what is capitalized, italisized, or the problems with comma's and periods. Maybe something with the page divided into quarters, each with one NPC.
