It seems there are a whole lot of gamers on this board in the area around Philadelphia PA.
I would like to propose a gigantic bring your family picnic.
Some time in late August or early September would probably be good.
I'll do what I can to find a park as centralized as possiblr to the group but would like to have input from those who would be interested in participating.

I wish I could be there. I was born in Philly and it would be a lot of fun to link up with w bunch of gamers for an event such as this! :)

This sounds like a great idea! Good for you.

Note that this is close to an OT poll, but it's serving a good purpose in order to bring the community together - so we'll squint a little and decide that EN World = On Topic. :D

You are a Feline and a buckaneer. Thank you sir.
Feel free to come for the part. I'm sure we could make room at My home. for you and Kid C.

Greetings from Malvern.

I know of a few parks that specialize in picnic events. One is in West Chester it is called either Brandywine Picnic Park (or West chester Picnic Park, they recently changed names and I am not sure which way they went.) Also there is one near Valley Forge (no not the Valley Forge Historical Park) the compay I worked for used it. It was quite nice if you are interested I can try and find the name all.

Just thought I would drop these two places for your picnic place search.

Picnic

Why yes, I do want to come to a picnic.
Sadly, I have no family, so it would just be me.

The Valley Forges are both nice parks: so is French Creek State park.
If you want to go closer to the city, FDR Park is pretty nice. Or Fairmount Park.
