This is from a friend of mine, that I try to coax into presenting his work to d20 companies. Am I biased/mistaken?

How could this have the seal of approval of B.A.D.D. ?!

Even I noticed her hand reaching for the Dagger ! Silly disposable dragons again ... :)

As for the art... ah... its very good stuff... good indeed

The artwork is certainly of a standard that could be published.

This piece is pretty specific though - fantasy focus and foreground, modern industrial background. That probably limits it's value somewhat. But the quality is there, and it can't hurt to try.

Oh, that was just an example. He can draw what he's asked to draw, he's used to that. What I would like is for him to draw less for friends... and more professionally. Since you all seem to think it is a very real possibility, I'll have a look on publishers around and see if they have guidelines for submissions. Then I'll put everything in his hands and give him a good shove, hopefully in the right direction.

Any idea as for the publishers I should try? I have thought about Fiery Dragons, notably. I'll have a look on their website later on.

I don't particularly care for the style. The cardboard cutouts against a backdrop thing just doesn't do it for me. But it is, definitely, of a quality comparable to what gets published....
