Piercings.

Our sorcerer now has a piercing, it is still non-enchanted, at least in his opinion : anyway i don't want to see something like one of my latest campaign in 2ed AD&D with anklets, brooches, rings, amulets, earings everywhere: a jeweled aristocrat lady was less shining that our "humble" wizard in the group!!!!

I think that there should be 2 "other" magic item slots(not including rings and ammy's). Maybe you could have 1 earing and one anklet. However, different types of items should be limited to a set of possible enchantments. Like a + 5' to your base movement for one anklet or something like that.

Nipple ring of Pertection +2 was the only pierceing magic item I've ever seen and it counted as a ring. more then 2 "Ring" type MIs cancel each other out.

We actually created piercing rings as a new type of psionic magic item in our campaign world.

I'd go into more detail, but my wife would kill me since she is working up a module that will include the psionic jewelry as part of our 2003 product line.

In my games, piercings = rings. ANything you can buy as a ring can be bought as a piercing, and counts against your ring slots. It was just easier for me that way.
