I don't cook enough, and certainly not enough red meat, to buy much from them, but when you really need to find a cut that isn't available in a grocery store, it is nice when these places are still around. I could probably save money and eat healthier buying from a butcher and spending more time cooking. But I'm lazy. My wife likes to cook, but generally isn't into cooking steaks and ribs and things. The only meat that she bothers to get from specialty stores is very thin sliced pork and beef for Chinese hot pot. But she got tired of dealing with frozen sliced meat, too thickly sliced meat, or having to drive out of her way for one item, that we bought our own meat slicer.</p></blockquote><p></p>
