I was agile enough to stay on my feet, but I was walking slowly on the skates, not rolling.  Anyway, being 6 I really wasn't looking where I was going and I wandered in front of a woman who was skating extremely fast.  I just remember seeing her a few feet from me with a look of horror on her face.I woke up in the manager's office on his couch with 4-5 men all standing over me looking down with really worried expressions on their faces.  When I opened my eyes one of them asked me if I was okay.  I said yes and they all looked relieved. Apparently the word of a 6 year old was good enough. My dad's friend took me home and that was that. This was in the 70's where if you didn't die, you were good to go!</blockquote>
