Likely true. You don't get to play a character, much, if he's in prison. Example: The day after my girlfriend, at the time, told me that she tried to end things with pills and alcohol. (I later realized it was probably just a manipulation tactic and had never happened.) I'm at work in the parking lot, above a no longer existing terminal at the Toronto Airport, emotions boiling. It's winter and maybe -20C with the wind chill. I've just come back from getting a can of soda, on my break. I step out of the stairwell and almost immediately get hit by several snowballs, that are the consistency of ice. The can gets knocked out of my hand. Rage hits, I literally see red and go into tunnel vision. I can hear the two people who hit me running around the outside of the stairwell (about 10' wide and 20' long). I lean down, pick up the can, and mentally calculate the moment that the first one will come around the back corner and into sight. Throw the can as the first one's head appears. The can hits the payphone right next to his head, end on. The can ends up crushed to half its height and sprays everywhere. I spin on my heel and immediately go back down the stairs, into the terminal. I'd hate to think what that can would have done to that guy's head. And then there's the Bard side: I was out at a friend's farm property and we were messing around with my flatbow (classic stick with a string). His bother and brother's insanely hot girlfriend show up for a few minutes and are wondering what we're doing. I can sense the girlfriend walk up behind me to get a good look along my sight line. I go from my previous meh performance to 6 bullseyes. They leave and I'm back to meh.
