And I can certainly see where opening up the can of worms about what is an ok minimal requirements risks bad things and I would err on the side of less constraints.Anyway, as far as upkeep, it might not be the neighbors job, but it might be their legal requirement.  I feel awful for folks whose only affordable and available places to live have overly arduous requirements.* if some of those cross into safety problems, back them up a bitI am having a hard time thinking that a business that wants its office employees to wear, say, business casual and doesn't allow  beachwear and Crocs is being evil.  On the other end  I can also rant for a while about things I think some school districts do that are horrible, am glad I don't work somewhere that requires jacket and tie, and think the attire required for some job interviews is horrible unfair.</blockquote>
