Troll Lord Games is coming out (hopefully in 2004) with a game called tentatively "Castles & Crusades", a slimmed-down d20 fantasy game, reminiscent of AD&D, in an attempt to marry the best features of d20 with some of the simplicity and feel of "old-time" D&D. A lot of people who enjoy some of d20's premise but are turned off by complexity in character generation are interested in seeing what Troll Lord comes up with - if successful, the plot is to get Gary Gygax & Rob Kuntz to write the "original" Castle Greyhawk in this proposed system...

Henry is 100% correct. As someone who is involved in the development stage, I can't say much cause of the NDA's, but I will say I think this game is going to hit the mark perfectly, for the description Henry gives.

I never played Deadlands, but I know there is a ton of material out there.

Even though I May never get to use the System I am sure I'll be buying it when it comes out!

Say.."W" since you can't tell us stuff without breaking the NDA here's what you can do!
Start a thead for yourself to post information to so you can work out your thoughts "out loud" and stuff. And then we can, ya know, just happen to wander in a take a look...hehhe!! (Just kidding )

Re:"the 6" movement...sure why not?! How many variations on basics do we need? Although each inch isn't "5 feet" it's "2 yards."
Not like it matters....

Oh and Dwarvesx have a Move of 5 inches...so they move a little faster!


oooo...I followed the link on "W's" sig and there are some nice downloads for Savage Worlds there!
