Assuming I read PC update correctly, I'd be preferential towards one of the Saturday games. My order of preference would be:
1) Slot 10
2) Slot 12
3) Slot 11

This is the second GenCon pickup games thread I know of - does anybody have an idea where ENWorlders are meeting for games like these.

I lost track of the other thread - was a central meeting place announced?

As far as I know on the other thread, the last part of the discussion talked about using a corner of the area that would be set up for pick up games. I don't think an actual decision was made but that is where the discussion was heading. I did email the folks at Gencon and that is what they suggested.

I will hopefully be getting my RPGA schedule this week. Once I have, let's sort out some gaming, eh?

I am wondering if this will work or what people think about this...
Is there any way we can set up a spot where we have pick up games? I mean pick up games, like if someone has a free moment or something falls through they can just jump in a game. I can bring Munchkin and some other similar games, or D20 modules with pregen characters, etc. Nothing too intense but something fun. If we have a general meeting place ENworlders can just head there and hopefully find someone to game with. Maybe we need some way to ID each other too. This will be my first Gencon so I am not too sure about how this works, but I have been told that there is an area where you can run pickup games. If we try and pick a corner in the pick up area to meet in will this work? Comments, questions ideas?
