Wheee! :D

Unfortunately, I hadn't been reading the boards through Nov-Dec due to schoolwork, so I think I'll be a bit lost at first...

The short summary:

The party is still in Eversink, still planning to head to the Underdark. Tao the ranger/cleric took the group with her on a combat-heavy quest to redeem a corrupted magical tree sacred to her religion, cleansing the citadel it sits in as well. In that citadel's vault, she found a deed which gives her religious/knightly order ownership of a particular island in Eversink, which is a city built on dozens of islands in a swamp.

It turns out that the island she apparently owns is the same one that the city prison is now built on.

This revelation has spurred a new wave of political and physical attacks, as the PCs go about threatening to upset the political applecart in Eversink once again.

When the updated story hour begins, they learn of a new assassination attempt being planned....

Hope that helps!

After a long dry spell on the old boards, I'm updating the story hour daily; three segments already posted, three or four more to come. So come watch the high-level Defenders of Daybreak as they dodge politics, avoid assassination, and wreak revenge against piratical scum in the harbors of Eversink!
