The "happy meal" ships in this new WhizKids game would be at the bottom of my list of options.

those links have some awesome miniatures, but WizKids has them beat in two areas that are important to a lot of gamers: price and availability. sure, the quality might not be as good, but for some people, that's not nearly as important as being able to walk into just about any game store and picking up a few for a few bucks.

Sales are down for WK figures, and they lost a bunch of money on Creepy Freaks.

They were going to make a happy meals Ring of the Lords game, but had to put it on hiatus.

Actually, Topps latest report says that Entertainment profits are up, including WizKids (although they aren't the largest increase in Topps entertainment profits).

Yes, it's hard to beat $4.00 for a set of rules, dice and usually 2 ships (apparently if you pulled a larger ship you might only get one).

assuming you mean Lord of the Rings, the LOTR collectible miniatures game is put out by Sabertooth Games, not Wizkids.
