Pixies and age

A guy in one of my campaigns is playing a Pixie, and is under the assumption that they don't die of old age. He stated his age is 600 years old.

I don't know where he got that information from, maybe Savage Species? I certainly wouldn't go by a 2nd edition book. Seems to me that fey shouldn't really get old. I think making them ageless is appropriate.

There was an article at the WotC website dealing with Fey possibly being immortal. One of the Fey Feature articles.

Don't forget the DR...
DR is nice, but when facing a fireball, cast by a matching (i.e. 7th lvl) mage, can mean pain. OK, then spell resistance kicks in, but some spells don't allow SR.

Back to the topic, it seems I have to make up a new character background. I'm travelling with a wyrmling brass dragon familiar (seems weird, but it's only for roleplaying reasons. No benefits at all. He is another strange character in our group). First I thought I "inherited" the brass dragon from my grandpa, but looking at the dragons age it seems my pixie more likely found that dragon egg and hatched it for a while.

Pixies rule. And you all don't know. But that's only because of the memory loss arrows...

Evasion= Good.

Flutterberry would probably be dead now if it hadn't been for that second rogue level. (Stupid winter wolves and their "I don't care if you have SR" breath weapons...:))

Hey! Don't call him "strange"! Or Nepomuk will start a long discussion about strange people :] Anyway, he knows the pixie from the time he hatched.
