Places for Maps besides WOTC?

I need more generic empty dungeons besides the ones offered at wizards.com.

Where can I find some?

Go to Ebay, and look for someone selling a large lot of old 1e adventures - they've been really cheap on ebay lately, and the maps are still just as good as always. Bonus if the adventures have already been converted in Conversion Library

A while back, someone mentioned that their local city planner's office would provide sewer maps free of charge. I'm sure those would make decent dungeon maps if you took the names off of them.

how bout real medieval castle floorplans? Any good sites? I couldn't find any with usable diagrams.

If you happen to be JUST talking about the map-a-week archives at wizards.com, check out the dungeon back issues archives; many of the maps are duplicated there, and I have had some really good luck plundering those:

Also, the map generator someone mentioned at RPGhost has a downloadable version hosted here at ENWorld. Go to the main page and then software.

Not to take this off-topic, but I was considering buying CC2. I'm not currently using any mapping software. Is there a problem with the program?

Didn't mean to imply a problem with the program - I happen to think it's great.

Some don't care for the aesthetics of the maps it produces, that's all.

If you like the maps featured on profantasy's site, and can deal with the (somewhat steep, but manageable IMO) learning curve, you'll be fine.

I like the look of the maps it produces, but the learning curve is way too steep, IMO. I don't have a CAD background, so it would take me far more time to master than I have.

I would purchase Fractal Mapper instead, or download Autorealm, which is free. You can also buy a PDF product called Castles & Keeps that has nifty floorplans. Go here.
