Really not enough info. My idea of "a nice place to eat" in Baltimore does not jive with a lot of people.
However, as mentioned earlier, Fell's Point has a lot of places to eat. Lots of bars, restaurants and stores. For me the places are hit or miss. Some I like are The Green Turtle and Max's on Broadway (which has TONS of beers on draft).
If into Italian, Little Italy is not far from Fell's Point and has Voccaro's (dessert place) as mentioned earlier. I heartily endorse Voccaro's by the way. Hope you're not dieting! Little Italy has a lot of Italian restaurants ranging from moderate to pricey. I can't really recommend ONE though. Except the dessert place.
The touristy district at the Inner Harbor has gobs of chain restuarants including Phillip's as mentioned earlier. Also has places like The Cheesecake Factory and Hooters. In the "nightclub" section there's Hard Rock Cafe and ESPNZone if you're into a sports bar kind of thing. Across the way are some restaurants over by Have a Nice Day Cafe. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse (sp?) is located nearby. Also of note is Shula's (as in Don Shula) in downtown Baltimore by the Arena.
In Mount Vernon (not the REAL Mt. Vernon in Va.) there are a lot of restaurants. If you're into trendy brewpubs there's Brewer's Art. Upstairs is a nice restaurant area. The Chef is pretty good. Downstairs is a nice seedy bar with local brews on tap (they don't call their specialty "Resurrection" for nothing!) and a wide selection of imports. You can also order food downstairs too. If you go there get the rosemary garlic fries. The Brass Elephant in that area isn't too bad either.
Further up north is Nam Kang. Asian reataurant - can't remember if its Korean or other. Been there once and REALLY want to go back. Info if interested:

If into eclectic style and "trendy wierd combination vegetarian" in addition to regular fare there is Paper Moon. I usually go there late night (like 2:30 ish in the morning) for the munchies.
Just some ideas.
