I'm A Banana

That's a pretty sweet campaign setting, yo. Lends itself to a Modern game well, too....hehehe.
Yeah, following in the worthy Gith's footsteps, I'm a PSer, and I can voice that there's scads to do on the planes. And I cannot stress the need for decent artwork....DiTerlizzi did quite a good job in PS, and the new bloods are doin' a good job, too (maybe better). It's something that really helps the players envision it and the DM describe it.
Plus, with enough plane-hopping, most characters know that, for instance, the Gray Wastes are bleak-looking. You don't need to drive it in right when they enter, but with every little thing. When they camp, they camp "On the gray sand on the ground, leaning against a gray tree that looks as if it were locked in a permenant winter, twisted and withered."
It's the little things that let them know this ain't kansas anymore.
Planar adventuring is a blast, either as the main thing or for part-time fun. But that's why I'm a PSer.
