Planar prestige classes?

haiiro

First Post
I've been cuddling up to the Manual of the Planes recently, and as that (excellent) book only contains four PrCs (divine agent, gatecrasher, planar champion and planeshifter) I'm wondering what else is out there.

Can anyone point me towards other sources of planar PrCs?

Thanks in advance. :)

Let's see, off the top of my head:

1. Eldritch Master (Dragon #280)

2. Cosmic Descrier (ELH)

3. Fiend Hunter (Dragon #???)

4. Acolyte of the Skin (T&B)

5. Alienist (T&B)

6. Elemental Savant (T&B)

7. Summoner (R&R)

8. Bunch of PrC based on Planescape factions (Dragon #???)
* I think this is the one Crothian was referring to.

Dragon #287, to be exact. It contains the Athar, the Cipher, the Sensate, the Sinker, the Taker, and the Xaositect.

Christopher Campbell
"Fractious Factions" Dragon #287
"Open Skies: The Silver Strike Guild" Dragon #307

I have to say, although the the agent and champion are pretty good prestige classes, I have real trouble with the Gatecrasher existing anywhere outside of Sigil. Does anyone have an explanation of who becomes gatecrashers in the course of normal D&D society?

Portals are quite prevalent in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, and I can see a gatecrasher developing there...

Thank you all for the info. Color me oblivious -- it's not a topic I've paid much attention to until recently, but I should have remembered at least some of those. :o

Any other recommendations?

Well, my plane hopping dwarven ranger 6/rogue 7/fighter 1 is angling for it, though I'll be rng 7/rog 8/ftr 1 before I qualify. (Wasn't originally going for it- but a helm of opposite alignment changed a lot of my character plans. ;) )

getting ahold of an amulet of the planes with an average intelligence, my lil halfling qualified for gatecrasher on a non FR / non planescape campaign in 10 rounds...

mind you everyone else was fighting a gold dragon with a helm of opposite alignments on .. but still! ^_^

I like the Planar Champ and the Divine Agent.
