Planewalker.com: Current State

Clueless

Webmonkey
This is to let everyone who might get worried about us over the weekend know what's going on if you haven't been reading the Planewalker site news.

We're down but it's expected: aka - we're moving hosts and our domain name is taking it's languid time to catch up to our new kip. We should be straightened out by the end of the weekend.

Hey Clueless,

Are we going to get new info for those of us with planewalker.com POP3 accounts? Its' my primary email address for everything and I was caught a bit off guard by the change and loss of mail since my wife and I just had twins so we've been a bit out of touch.

Cheers, Will

Ok, the web-dabus are taking longer than they should. Which is to say we're having an on-going issue getting the domain name to transfer. Current estimate is by the end of week as we need to transfer registrars to get some middle 'loths out of the situation. Yay, Network Solutions... *snort*

In the meantime: http://www.dev-planewalker.com will work. You may see a number of broken image links, but the forums and articles will function. I suggest if you link to these pages that you be ready to change them back once we get the webnames back in order.

LcKedovan: Can you get in contact with me directly? clueless@~remove-me~candor.foxpaws.net - We sent out a few rounds of messages trying to get hold of everyone with planewalker accounts and heard nothing back in the weeks before the hosting move - possibly your spam filter ate our attempts to contact you, or the new little ones were a big distraction at the time (Congrats by the way!). At this point you're the only person to even notice the change.

I took full backups before the switch so I have everything that would have been in your box on the date of shutdown - but we need to figure out how to / if we can do POP accounts with the new server, or if a forward to a gmail account would actually be better once our domain name finally catches back up with us (you'd certainly have more file space that way, with a way to get to the email without us). So ping me via email and we'll get the details worked out.
