I'm excited by the idea of a d20 Modern PbP game, but not being a Buffy fan, I think I'll have to pass on this one. I just posted to suggest that you start a recruitment thread for this in the In Character forum, at the very least linking to this thread. Seems like there are always people looking for new games there (I'm talking to you, garyh ), so you might get more of a response.

Regardless, I hope the game goes well and I look forward to reading it,

I'm up for playing, but I still am awaiting my D20Modern from Amazon, and don't feel like dealing with the SRD. If you haven't started by the time I get my copy (in about a week), I'll whip up a PC for ya, Angelsboi.

EDIT: I'll even play a student - heck, I might play myself, being a grad student and all.

SO I'm tossing up between Student-Journalist (Editor of the College Paper) or a young Priest just appointed to his first parish and now having to deal with this 'vampire' thing

- what would you prefer (oh yeah and I'm using the SRD atm)

the SRD is fine ... for now. update your character once you get the book.

No one realy knows about any 'shadow' creature right now. i dont think a 1st level character will be trying to tackle a 'vampyre problem'

You could have adverse lore and believe some of these local LARPers who dress n all black PRETENDING to be vampires know a lot more than they think

Thanks for the pointer. I'm already trying to piece together a PC from the SRD.
