Player's Guide to Rangers and Rogues: Prestige Classes

JRR,

While I wish I could be more open about this book (since I know what went into the book before the final drafts were submitted), I can only say the options for Rangers will be varied. I do know that there will be a wide variety of themes ongoing in the book, but the focus will stay on the Ranger's ability to connect with nature as well as his fighting ability. I can't say any more than that. (Hopes Joe won't send his ninja hit squad for saying this...)

Lol. No worries, Nightfall. My main gripe was rangers in a book with rogues when traditionally rangers went in books with paladins, barbarians, and fighters. With the 3.5 ranger getting even more roguish, I am worried that ranger prestige classes in this book will tend more toward rogues than fighters, which imo is just wrong.

Anyway, thanks for posting this, I'll give it a looksee when it hits shelves.

*Disclaimer - please don't start yet another fight on rangers here, there are enough threads on that, I've been flamed in all of them. :-) *

Well I can say at least two if not more of the listed Pr-classes will focus more on fighting than any natural stuff. I can't say which but rest assured they won't be full blown rogue powered.
