The Shadow of Eberron
I ran a one-off adventure in the 3.5 Eberron setting using the rules for The Shadow of Yesterday. The conceit for the session was that while our regular cast of characters were off adventuring in the jungles of Xen'drik, a party of changelings had been hired to impersonate them and provide a cover story back in the city of Sharn. The players really exploited (in a good way) the control a TSOY character has over the story's direction-- they ended up in parts of the city I never anticipated, and kept me on my toes writing in new NPCs. I'd definitely do it again, and I think the players would, too.
