the most funny update was the hill giant standard attack damage:

it is a brute, it was released early and it said: i hit as hard as a little girl...
in a podacst the designers wanted to show a brute, opened the book and said: brutes do a lot of damage... like hmm... its a freaking... d10 + 7... and that is... awesome...

really... i wait for updated printed products... such obvious mistakes in a core rulebook are annoying...

My favorite "update" that I've noticed had to be the original omission of oil for lamps.

To answer your question, I copy & paste the errata text and reformat each book's errata down to 1 page front and back and stick those pages in the front of each book. It works well enough, considering I'd rather not bother pasting stuff on the actual pages.

I'd like to find some paper with post it note sticky levels on the entire backside, cut it to fit the replaced section and just print out the section with the update and overlay it, that way it would be able to be easily removed but not really able to fall off accidentally, has anyone seen the stuff and know where I can find something like that, a full sheet of paper with sticky note level stickyness on the backside?

I have the full text of my character's powers on my character sheet, so I just apply the updates to the text there. If I was DM'ing, though, I think I would have to mark passages that had been updated.

I use some labels that I found at Office Depot.

Avery
Print or Write Multi-Use Labels
4"x6" (fits one column in the book perfectly)
05454
S6496

Just google "Avery 05454" and you'll find them.

I heard the special edition books had the "updates" included, at least up to a certain point I guess. Anyone seen those things in action? I wouldn't pay that much for a book just to have the errata, but if I was paying that much for a book, having it be pretty much right would be a nice bonus.
