Please - Allow html files to be attached

There have been a few occasions where I have wanted to attach an old ENWorld thread that I have saved on my HD (in html form) to enhance a discussion.

Apparently, it doesn't allow html files to be attached, and the only other option is to convert it to txt (it looks pretty bad) or doc (it bloats to over 250KB).

Is there a technical reason why we shouldn't be able to attach html files?

You could zip it up and attach that....

I thought about that, but the more options allowed, the more resources needed to allow it. I could set it to allow any file type of any size, but we'd soon run out of space on the server.

The other thing I'd be wary about with html files is that poeple would start using it as free web space. Theoretically, you could contruct an entire web site in that manner. And I can't afford to be a general web host.

That's probably me being paranoid, though.
