Please Bury Me With It

Thief of Always

First Post
A combination of boredom and melancholy has gotten me again, so I'm listening to Modest Mouse. Now, I've begun to wonder...

If you could be buried with anything, what would that 'anything' be?

Aside from some sentimental items of mine (drawings from old friends, pictures, etc.), I'd like to be buried with my Found book, a replica of a Captain Planet Planeteer ring, a copy of Ghostwalk, my Mars Volta Deloused in the Comatorium, and my Johnny the Homicidal Maniac collection.

I know the concept is trivial, but hey, why not?

You need to listen to Float On. :p

I really don't know what I'd want to be buried with. I don't think there is anything. I'm not a materialistic person at all... in fact most people are shocked at how little stuff I have. I don't particularly think there's much of a need for anything physical after you die either. So I guess I wouldn't really care what I would be buried with.

On the other hand, I do know how I want to be buried. I want there to be a party. Seriously. A big one. I'd rather have people celebrating my life than mourning my death. I'd have them remember all of the good times and good things over beer and food, amongst everyone who loved me. I'd want them to be happy that I'm free of the worries and constraints that the physical world entails. Really, I'd rather have everyone be somewhat happy than everyone be depressed. I don't like it when my friends are unhappy, I try to cheer them up as best I can in life... why not in death too?

I think I would prefer to be buried with as few organs as possible, if my death "allows". (I guess when I die of old age in my sleep - which I would prefer - none of my organs will be usable...)

I don`t think my body will need anything when he decays in the Earth...

But, just in case I am wrong with my theories on afterlife and decaying, this sounds like a good idea:

I think I will ask to be buried with an Internet connection to Enworld forums...

I would like to be buried with a copy of the December 8, 2048 edition of the Chicago Tribune. :p

(edit) But not if I have to wait for delivery.

In those days, it will probably be in PDF, so you could ask as I did: with an Internet connection.

Mmmmh... Seems i am still there on Enworld, and it's time to lunch...

I want to be cremated. So please keep my RPG books on the shelf, where they belong. Unless you want to use them for a big 'send Robb of to the afterlife' D&D session :)
