Please Fix My Account

Sorry bout all the caps, but I've been trying to get my message board account fixed for a while now, I've emailed Morrus a couple of times and had no reply.

Some time ago I registered the user name "RabidBob", some of you will remember me, I've been visiting and occasionally posting to the boards since the first version back in 1999/2000-ish. However the email from this board system ended up in my "bulk mail" folder on my yahoo account and was deleted in routine clearing out of the folder, thus my account cannot be activated so I cannot post. Can I ask that either my "RabidBob" account is (a) activated manually, or (b) deleted so I can re-register.

EDIT - fixed! (mock indignation) If you had seen the thread I posted two months ago, you'd know why... err.... :D

You're back in business. Let me know if you still have any problems. In general, always feel free to email me for this sort of thing, as I get less email than Morrus does.

Well, RL got complicated in 2001. I was laid off in November, things started looking down in the IT industry in the UK at that point. So, I was out of work for a long while, apart from trying my hand at motorcycle couriering work (ugh). Am beginning to get back on my feet now though, have some speculative work and a livable retaining wage until royalties start kicking in.

Still have not found a group though. :(
 

Hello...whereabouts in London are you? You might be able to join either of the two groups I play in...of course you'd have to ask the respective DM's.

Well, I live just outside London now, have just moved to Hemel Hempstead. Certainly am interested, although life is pretty busy just at the moment - my software project should be going beta in less than 6 weeks ... crunch time!

Thank you so very much Piratecat for fixing my log-in problem as well! While I've been able to get in under my wife's account for the past two weeks I've found that I really missed the extra Community Supporter functions.
