We use the houserule that the toughness feat automatically upgrade to the next, dwarf's, dragon's etc, when you reach the needed base fort save.

That might be something to look at. My house rule was before that splatbook came out, but maybe I need to update it now.

I like that houserule, might have to incorporate that.

Personally, I'd only consider it for RP purposes, maybe you want to play the Toughest Dwarf Alive or something like that. It wouldn't cripple you, but there's a lot more useful things you can do with four feats :)

I can see this feat being useful at early levels. Unfortunately, as many others have said, it is hurt by it's heavy prerequisites.

One thing that I wonder about is why they added the +2 BAB minimum. With three feats as a prerequisite, do they really need to put that it there? The only reason I can think of is that they really didn't want sorcerers and wizards to have it at 3rd level.

This would be a good feat. . . . if not for the prerequisites. However with both toughness and endurance required, the only character I can think of recommending this feat to is a some kind of Templar/Dwarven Defender.

Ditto!

It'd be an average feat if you did away with all the prereqs

You've been doing these polls for sometime. Do you have a consolidated results list somewhere?

Are you eventually going to do this with the other splatbooks' feats as well? (I hope so- I like seeing how others view them!)

Why not post a new one every two or three days? How often do you post new ones?

Thats the same one I use in my campaigns. It seems to work out really well. The Wizards still get more HPs at higher levels, while Toughness really makes sense for the Fighter types.

Yes, I'll do them all in order of publication.
Generally 1 feat a week. If I get 50 votes on a feat, before the week is up I'll post the next feat.
