Please, someone take my sword away (Character Builder Questions)

Recently I bought most of the D&D Essentials line. I haven't yet played it, but I'm very optimistic about the revised builds. I'm starting a three new Essentials only games in the next few weeks and am pretty excited.

Which leads me to:

I went ahead and subscribed to the online CB. I've been using the offline builders but - wisely for WotC - they never updated it for Essentials. It worked for me, and I liked Essentials enough that I've subscribed. I'm now building the PC characters but I've run into a problem that I just can't solve. The "HELP" button doesn't work either, coincidently.

Q: How, for the love of Kord, can I get rid of something in my inventory? "Unequip" simply means that the player isn't carrying/using it, but the item is still listed on the character sheet? I'm missing something, right? Please take my sword away from me, I just want to use my axe.

Any word of if/when WotC will add more customization to the CB? I do love it, but my players customize *every* character they have - which I support as long as it's balanced and theme-based. Now, I print out the character sheet and then rewrite it with customizations for each player (DM'ing 20+ ESL kids and most of them need me to do it for them... but it just takes too much time!)

Get Equipment -> Switch to Market Place -> Sell Items -> Remove.

True, i should have seen it. But the sad truth is that I've built about 10 characters and have spent much time looking for this - even using magical google. The first lesson I learned about modern D&D after a 25 years absence was this: Enworld has the truth(s).

Don't apologize for missing this. The UI for buying and selling is a flaming pile of otyugh dung. There's no way to search across all categories, and selling is stuffed in at the end of a list of types of things you can buy, which makes no damn sense at all. They've said that making it less awfully horribly terribly wretched is on their to-do list, which we eagerly await…

FYI: You are not the only one that could not figure this out (bad UI design if you want my opinion).
