Point Blank Shot & Grenadier -- apply to splash damage?

A while ago I posted here that I was happy to be convinced that the +1 from Point Blank Shot & Grenadier both applied to splash damage from acid flasks. Now I'm finally putting that character together, and I've easily found the text that provides the +1 from the Grenadier feat. However, I cannot find text anywhere that suggests that a flask thrown within 30' will get the +1 from Point Blank Shot. OK, well, it's easy to interpret that the +1 applies to the main target, but splash damage? I can no longer find the text that suggests this is true, and I didn't bookmark it. Can anyone tell me where I might have read that, or if I was just flat-out mistaken? If so, can anyone provide confirming text?

PBS grants you +1 to damage with ranged weapons at close range. The glossary defines a splash weapon as a ranged weapon that deals damage to its target and to creatures within five feet of its point of impact.
