I had an idea for a Pokemon game that the premise was it took place 15 years after the original series. All of the children grew and abandoned their Pokemon as it turned out to be a fad for them. All the Pokemon became feral and formed their own gangs hunting down and killing other Pokemon. Eventually Meowth combined all of the gangs and began hunting down the former Trainers and killing them in horrible ways.
It would be up to the players to solve the mystery and hunt the feral Poke until the menace was defeated.

A fun game.

A couple of years ago, my wife converted the Pokemon Jr Adventure Game in to something more like a standard RPG.

She ran it for a group of friends, and it was a blast, even for the people not interested in Pokemon.

The PCs were gang members, and had to deal with another Pokemon gang encroaching on thier territory. The players got to switch pretty much at will between contolling the Pokemon Trainer and contolling his/her Pokemon.

It wasn't exactly campaign material, but it was a lot of fun!

Derek, your idea is completely evil, I hope you don't mind if I steal it!
