A Greyhawk hardcover is defiinitely something I'd buy- I'd love to see it supported at least a little. But I'm not holding my breath.
I mostly agree with you. I am torn between the desire to always have updated material, and te desire to see something really new. A good compromise would be a new fresh world with plenty adventures, as you say, and a big shiny update book for the others
