There's not a poll yet. Or is this more of a caucus?

I think the 4e PHB cover lacks the experience needed to give me a fun game from day one. We obviously can't re-use a previous PHB cover, but why can't we take, say, the Monstrous Manual cover from 2e and make that the new 3e cover? It served me just fine for years, and I think it's ready to make the jump from monsters to players.
 



I'm not sure it really "sells" what D&D is all about. Of course that definition itself is certainly up for debate. I like the horn-nosed dragon picture better as a PHB cover (despite the horn).

Yup, I agree to some degree.

STILL, I wanted this thread not to talk about "all the covers", just about THIS cover.
