I'm surprised, I haven't seen anyone mention DnDChick's Furries and Fantasy: The world of Fauna. I'm running a game based on that, and my players are having a great time playing humanoid animals, so far we have a badger, cat, ape, rhino, kangaroo, panda and hummingbird. The setting doesn't have birds. but I made a base for birds using what DnDChick had for the other animal types as a template.
