I'm looking to update an old 2E adventure I wrote which included the Poltergeist as one of its more memorable monster encounters. I'm searching for a 3E conversion of the Poltergeist. I tried the Monster conversion pages, but I didn't find it there.
I considered using the ghost template, but with just the Frightful Moan ability. However, one aspect key to the old adventure was the Poltergeists vulnerability to silver, which the ghost template does not address. I also wanted to have the creature bound to its location. And I wanted the ability to chuck random objects around the room as well. Seems like the ghost template just won't cut it here.
Any suggestions on a 3E conversion of the Poltergeist would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
