Does anyone have any input on the formula used to arrive at the prices for the various components in Mecha Crusade? They seem confusing to me:

Edit - revised subject in accordance with Paizo request...
- 250 BP for +1 to hit, 1,000 BP for +2 to hit
- 6,250 BP for a rocket launcher that does 10d6 (Reflex 17 for half) damage per rocket vs. 4,800 BP for a missile launcher that does 15d6 (+10 to hit) damage per missile
- 4,170 BP for a gun that does 10d6 per shell vs. 2,145 BP for a gun that does 3d6 per shell vs. 3,000 BP for a flamethrower that does 4d6 damage in a 12m cone
