Polymorph question

The most current version of Polymorph Self is in the Psionics Handbook errata at http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/er/er20010819a

A couple points:

You can polymorph into yourself -- from the 9th or 10th paragraph, "You can be changed into a member of your species or even into yourself."

The spell description implies that you CAN NOT use polymorph to imitate a specific individual, making it weaker in that respect than Alter Self (one of many complaints I have with the current revision -- Polymorph Self has been turned into a combat spell. From the paragraph following the one just referenced: "You are effectively disguised as an average member of the new form’s race." [my emphasis]
 

Umm, this may have been mentioned, but I didn't see it.

Remove Blindness/Deafness

Conjuration (Healing)
Level: Clr 3, Pal 3
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Target: Creature touched
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)
