Portland OR Gameday...

You know, I'd certainly be up for such.

I don't exactly have time to organize it (though I've wanted to for a while, after seeing how much fun folks seem to have at the other EN World Game Days), I'd happily show.

Heck, I'll even run a Scarred Lands game.

Okay, everyone who plays in Joe's Scarred Lands game should play a druid of Denev. Begin all your prayers for casting spells with "Mother Denev..."

And make liberal use of Entangle and Heat Metal. He loves it when his players do that.

:D :D :D

Of course, I can also make sure that the stack of prizes includes some material from Sword & Sorcery Studios, and the associates thereof (Necromancer Games, Malhavoc Press, etc.)

I will go one better! The best DM from the Gameday will get Joe as their personal scribe to follow them around for one week jotting down every profound utterance...

Oh, wait. Can't really do that...

How about a pledge of a few PDFs? :D

I'm there, especially if there's a Scarred Lands game. I could show you those comic books from our group's campaign that I e-mailed you about. Any weekend other than March 8-9 is good for me...

I'd like to participate, and could even commit to something if you nailed down a date/time. This weekend's (2/1) not good, though.

(edit: I almost BOUGHT Scarred Lands Gazetteer yesterday. I didn't know the guy for it was in town. Oh, and we'd need to find Sepulchrave. He's a local.)

I'm interested. I know this weekend is booked with my normal gaming group up in Vancouver, and I thought about going down to the small convention in Corvallis next weekend, but am definately interested. So keep the date public.

I'm a longtime Marvel RPG DM, and am a slowly converting to the d20 system, and away from all the percentile rolls and Karma.

There *is* a gaming con in Portland in March

(Hi all, first time poster, long time lurker...)

If you need a venue for a gathering in Portland, have you considered going to Game Storm 2003? It's March 14 - 16, at the DoubleTree Columbia River hotel.

More information is at

http://www.pdxgames.com

The event scedule isn't up yet, but it should be soon. We've got the RPGA signed up, Peter Adkison and Steve Long as GoH, and a bunch of really cool games. We need more though!

Or, if you like, have the game day and come to Game Storm too. I'm not picky.

Fairly inadequate web guy, Game Storm 2003

P.S. Also, to be honest, we need room nights or the hotel's going to screw us over on the space rental. If you'd like to come, please consider getting a hotel room. Of course, you don't need a room just to join in the fun!

If a date for a Portland Game day was set, my wife and I would almost certainly show up. Heck I will probably go to Gamestorm if It dosen't conflict with school too much.
