positive/negative material plane (and an energy drain question)

Emaniciated Spawn is a pretty difficult concept to grapple with for some Scion. I think if maybe he/she were a ghost, it would be easier to deal with. Just offering that piece of advice.

Possibly true, but it seems like their main problem with it is negative energy = evil, paladin = not evil

Most every template can be hard to understand in some way or another (winged human? how? bone and muscular structure problems! or I could define flying as antihuman )

No worries though, its all good hopefully.

Well, if you put it that way, of course it's evil and wrong! I mean, that would mean Vampiric Touch was evil, since you're draining their life essence into you. And since it's necromancy, that of course means all necromancy spells are evil, right? Just like ... Astral Projection! And of course, since plane shifting requires the use of the astral plane, it too must be evil...

*notes that their argument seems to be about as ridiculous as the above*

You make a good case with vampiric touch I asked them why enervation wasnt evil..lol.. still no answer on that, or anything else.. I guess they have been left with no legs to stand on and choose not to come back, that is fine.

Dont forget, by the same logic cure spells would be Good and therefore an evil cleric could not use them..lol.. 'heal my minions? no!! that would be good and I am Eeeviill...'

The USE of negative energy isn't evil in my view. But some times casting such spells can cause some very negative things to happen. But good luck in any case Scion.
