Possible Bubba Ho Tep sequel

I'm a fan of Bruce Campell, and I like cheesy movies, but I found this film to be disappointing. The idea is better than the execution.

It sure was. I went for the clever high concept but ended up getting the most enjoyment out of the flashback scenes showing Elvis and the impersonator.

The mummy sequences just didn't give the necessary payoff for the premise, though I do recall a surprisingly touching monologue by Campbell at the end.

How have I managed not to hear of this movie?!

I'd heard of it, but that was it. The link provided was the first time I saw any kind of plot synopsis. I'll probably rent it when it comes out just to see what it was about.
