[Post-GenCon] What upcoming d20 releases are you looking forward to?

Lots of fun higher CR monsters, some new, some old. Numerous undead and fey. Don't remember the proper names for most of the monsters they showed us, but iirc, they included the following:

-Spellweaver from FR which casts up to 6 spells per round
-Yakfolk
-an undead consisting of frustrated warrior spirits that died in inconsequential battles that takes the form of a cloud of bladed weapons--essentially a vegematic for PC
-some sort of megaooze
-Thri-Kreen rebuilt as 2 HD creatures to be more suitable as PCs
-a death knight template
-a number of demons, devils, and celestials
-the mountain giant
-a template for turning standard animals into war animals (I can already see my kobolds training their dire war weasels) :D
-banshees
-half golems

The running commentary by the developers at the presentation was pretty funny too, particularly James Wyatt's glee as he read off various creature stats.

A Mountain goat? Ooooookay :)

Like the idea of the war animal template though... wonder if it applies to Beasts as well... I want my trained battle Triceratops complete with Howdah!

I'm personally looking forward to Sam Witt's AIRSHIPS book from Bastion Press, due out March 2003. Not something that's been covered yet by a product (at least to my knowledge).

What product did you find out about this weekend that you're looking forward to?
You don't have to wait till March because Goodman Games is coming out with Aerial Adventure Guide, Vol. 1: Rulers of the Sky in September. I got a flier from their booth. They are the ones that have Dinosaur Planet: Broncosaurus Rex.

Peace and smiles :)

No, a mountain GIANT. A colossal sized giant that can kill PCs by tossing them long distances or belly-flopping on them (a move that the designers originally called "the big hairy ass of doom").

Looking forward with great anticipation to seeing the new Freeport mega-module. Spoke briefly with Chris at their stand and it sounds like it will be quite the adventure.

Everquest, LoTR RPG, and OathBound were all at GenCon. There was a rumor that Q. Monk was there as well, but I never saw it. Chronomancy was, and they sold out of it. I didn't get a chance to look there it real close, and I'm not one to impulse buy before I really look over it closely.

OathBound is interesting. Kind of like a Ravenloft style thing that you can use as a massive "side-trek" adventure, or as a campaign world. Lots of new races. The book is hard-bound, and full color (of course, it's Bastion Press!), and was quite nice looking actually.

The EverQuest RPG book was actually a really good deal. It was HUGE and was only $30. It detailed all the stuff that any EQ player already knows, but in a d20-LIKE presentation. The rules looked VERY similar to D20. The book was nicely done, and laid out very well. If you're a HUGE EQ fan, you would like it. It seemed like it would convert to D20 quite easily. But, in the end I just couldn't see that it would add any value over the PHB I already own.

I didn't see the LoTR RPG.
