Aside from the potion PrC in Magic of Eberron, what other PrCs are there geared towards alchemists, potion-makers or splash damage characters? Tanks!

There's the Master Alchemist from Magic of Faerun. Mostly centered around making magical potions.

I can only think of the grenadier and mad alchemist feats from PHB II, but no PrCs...

A while back on the dicefreaks board an Alchemist class was posted that learned to brew potions with spell effects like a wizard learned spells. I think that could work fairly well as an idea, and the damage effect would be substantial. A potion of fireballs thrown as a grenade-like weapon would be rather nasty. Mix it with fighter and possibly master thrower or just concentrate on feats like quick draw, rapid throw, etc.

That's what I was thinking of too. A while back someone posted a concept of a splash damage throwing Rogue. I noticed that Magic of Eberron PrC and thought the two in conjunction could make a pretty nifty character. Although you'd only get 5d6 sneak attack damage (Rogue 10/Wiz 5/that potion PrC 5), so maybe it wouldn't be worth it.

What about the Master Thrower would be most appealing? Palm Throw (if allowed by the GM), Sneaky Shot and Doubletoss seemed good but the others seemed not so great. It made me wonder if it would be worth losing the extra sneak attack damage. Thoughts?

Use the Alchemist from Eberron as your base class. They can basically make items call infusions that mimic spells, amd among other things get a "craft reserve," of extra XP for crafting items. Using infusions, the alchemist could graduate from chucking alchemist's fire to chucking potions of fireball infusions.

Then take the useful feats. Mad Alchemist, Grededier, Craft Potion, some throwing stuff. Also maybe Master Thrower.

Did you mean Artificer? If so, that's definitely a good thought.
