I've never really thought about it much, but with all of the Power Gamer and Munchkin stuff thrown about it's made me wonder. Please read the following and let me know what you think.
I pretty much always play the same character. Fighter for 10 levels, followed by 4 levels of Weapon Master and 4 levels of Master Samurai. After that I usually move into Paladin until the campaign comes to an end (which has always been before we reach 20th level). Only the names and places change.
With this class progression I pretty much always have the same skills and feats (with those two prestige classes you only get to actually pick ONE feat by the time you reach 18th level, and that has always been Close Quarters Fighting).
We're at 18th level now and I may just skip the Paladin levels this time if the DM indicates that we'll continue into Epic levels. I'll go back to Fighter and earn all those glorious Epic bonus feats.
Does this make me a Power Gamer or a Munchkin? Or I am just a regular player trying to have fun by playing something familiar and comfortable?
