BOOK OF ELDRITCH MIGHT II NOW AVAILABLE
'Songs and Souls of Power' Malhavoc's Biggest Release Yet!

February 12, 2002 (Renton, Wash.)-If you liked the first Book of Eldritch
Might, you won't believe what the sequel has in store! Following up his
popular arcane sourcebook, designer Monte Cook has packed even more spells,
magic items, prestige classes, feats, and monsters into Book of Eldritch
Might II: Songs and Souls of Power, on sale now.

For just $7, fans of the d20 System can now buy the latest arcane sourcebook
from Monte Cook, codesigner of the new edition of the Dungeons & Dragons(r)
game. This book comes as a full-color, illustrated PDF file with a bonus
plain-text version for easy printing. New higher-resolution artwork makes
Book of Eldritch Might II: Songs and Souls of Power the best-looking
Malhavoc Press release yet! And at 64 pages, it's nearly twice the size of
its predecessor.

This latest foray into Eldritch Might features completely redesigned
alternate versions of the sorcerer and bard classes, including rules for
music-based bardic magic; more than 100 new spells and spellsongs; rules for
soul magic, a type of arcane power using sentient spells; over three dozen
new feats, prestige classes, and magical items; and all-new magical
monsters.

This source material, for characters of all levels, fits in well with any
campaign. Fans can sample previews of the art and get a new monster free at
Malhavoc's website: <www.montecook.com>.

Monte launched Malhavoc Press in May 2001 with the publication of the first
Book of Eldritch Might, which last summer won three EN World d20 System
Awards for excellence, voted on by the fans. Hallmarks of Malhavoc Press and
Monte's game design include unusual magic, monsters, and evocative elements
that go beyond traditional fantasy, as well as a mastery of the d20 System
rules that only one of the game's original designers can offer. All current
Malhavoc Press titles are available in electronic format at
<www.montecook.com>. Print versions are published by Sword & Sorcery.

Monte Cook started working professionally in the game industry in 1988. For

the new edition of Dungeons & Dragons (the basis of the d20 System) and
authored the Dungeon Master's Guide and Return to the Temple of Elemental
Evil. A graduate of the Clarion West writer's workshop, Monte has also
published short stories and two novels. His freelance work includes a d20
version of Call of Cthulhu, due out from Wizards in March. He has also done
