The Whispering Woodwind (Adventure) Available Now!

September 19, 2002 (Chicago, IL)- You may have seen the many free releases offered at the Creative Mountain Games website and have waited patiently to see more. Well, here it comes!

This first adventure from designer/writer Mark Clover of Creative Mountain Games will have the players guessing and keep them on their toes. Packed with vivid NPCs, The Whispering Woodwind is a chase to right that which has gone terribly wrong...and there are plenty of surprises along the way.

For just $5, this finely crafted adventure is geared for characters up to fourth level and easily added to any DM's campaign setting. Built as a PDF download with a mind toward printer friendly usage, it's now on sale at http://www.creativemountaingames.com

If you haven't yet, don't forget to pick up the many free releases also available at the CMG website!

Mark kicked off Creative Mountain Games in January of 2002 with his first free release after researching the d20 System and OGL licenses since their inception. He's carefully moved forward to ensure that each and every release from CMG strictly follows the guidelines and rules of the d20 System and respective licenses.

Mark's love for the game began back in 1975 and soon after began developing his own material. With the advent of the d20 System license, he can now bring over a quarter century of design and writing experience to everyone. As a one who always adhered to the rules, the material presented in CMG releases is sure to be balanced for use in any d20 System/Fantasy game.

Please, be sure to check out http://www.creativemountaingames.com right away and look for even more in the near future!

Just on the initial scan through of the document, all I can I say is, "wow." The detail is every DM's dream. I like the specific details in each section how to change the difficulty level for higher or lower level PCs. And the NPCs are the true strength of this adventure. It's obvious from Mark's style that the NPCs build the stories and he makes an extra effort to focus on them, more than any other d20 publisher as far as I know. It really distinguishes Creative Mountain Games from other d20 companies.

For all interested, I'm planning on posting a review by this weekend.

I just purchased this adventure recently, but only had a bit of time last night to start reading through it. So far, I really like what I'm reading. The tips for how to portray the NPCs is excellent, as well as how to scale the adventure for the characters.

And, of course, the maps are top-notch.:D

High praise indeed, from one of the best freelance cartographers in the d20 industry! Thanks Anna! :)

And thank you, Croathian. I'm dying to see your review, brother! :)

(Check's in the mail... ;) )
