[PR DQG] City Guide Cultures: Moon Elves

That sounds good to me, Tensen! I'll put up a new DQ gallery featuring the moon elves, and people can see how much they were influenced by the LotR movie (specially the Strider-like Ranger male). :)

Well this is interesting. It's now a Natural 20 product. I wonder if that means MEG, who seems to have enjoyed the.PDF will be printing it in their schedule?

DQG and Natural 20 Press

Oh nice move, Tensen, man, I wish I'd thought of it. :)

Will this have any affect on any of the creation aspects of DQG products, or is it just a publishing agreement? (Yeah, I read the news column on the front page, but it never hurts to ask).

I've been considering getting this, but something in the sample pages jumped out at me that makes me wonder about the PrCs.

The Elven Spotter is a 10 level PrC with a prereq of 15 ranks of spot. Since max ranks in a class skill is level + 3, that means you'd need 12 levels in a class with spot as a class skill to qualify for the PrC.

Which means in non-Epic play, you can only ever take 8 levels in the PrC.

No, it should not affect creation aspects much. The only change I see is that we will probably utilize each other's OGC material.. but then again we already were doing that.

Good catch. I'll actually have to go back through some of the playtest notes to see where that occurs. But I imagine what happened was that it was a Rank 10, and someone said make it +5 to bab, but they added the +5 to the total skill ranks. I can see Spot 10, bab +5. But don't quote me on this until I can review and confirm it... I didn't happen to write that one.

Thanks for the response. That makes perfect sense as a set of prereqs. It also explains the BAB +2 requirement, which seemed a bit redundant as written (I can't think of any class which would allow 15 ranks in spot without granting a BAB higher than +2).

Assuming there is official erratta on this, will there be an update or a patch to the .pdf, or will the erratta be posted somewhere seperately?

I only ask because it makes a difference as to when I purchase, since if there's an update to the .pdf I'd rather wait on it.

I don't yet have the ability to create a patch for PDF files... if anyone is aware of how to do it, and the software isn't too expensive then we will look into it.
