First Post
Dimensions Game Software is pleased to announce that expansion of the interactive version of the SRD continues this week with the addition of the first section of equipment items. Generators for the following groups of items are included: trade goods, simple melee weapons, simple ranged weapons, martial melee weapons, martial ranged weapons, exotic melee weapons, exotic ranged weapons, asian melee weapons, asian ranged weapons, armor, shields, extras, specials, grenadelike weapons, and siege engines.

The following sections are already available: Wondrous Items, Treasure, and Special Abilities. The second equipment section should be available very soon. Each of the sections, including the equipment sections, are accompanied by Treasure Generators which include ALL of the listed items. The user can select individual categories, such as 'Feather Tokens' from the Wondrous Items generator or can choose 'All Items.'

"I hope that GM's will find these programs useful for stocking dungeons and calculating random treasure items," said Jeffrey A. Mills, DVM, founder of Dimensions Game Software.

NOTE TO GAME PUBLISHERS: Making an interactive version of your product or a section of your product available is a great way to attract visitors to your website. An interactive version of your product can be much, much more than simple automated tables. Please check out the game statistics generator provided with 'Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Creatures' for another example of an interactive product. Programming fees are reasonable and turnaround time is fast. Contact Jeffrey A. Mills, DVM, doctorjeff98@msn.com, for further information.

All programs are available for online use at Dimensions Game Software

Good idea, thank you

You're welcome! I'd love to see the industry with more software support. Let me know if you have any questions. Since most publishers are busy creating and publishing, maybe more work will be available for those with programming knowledge.

Also, I thought a more detailed explaination as to why I started the iSRD so soon to the release of a new version might be in order (in response to Pramas). I thought it would be a good product to use in order to show publishers an example of what kind of services I can offer them. The visitors to my site seem to enjoy it. And updating it for the new release should be relatively easy.

We'll see about getting you a link of the week feature at RPOES. I'm a programmer too, specializing in web development.
