As Raw Recruits is being readied in its final stages we have just released details on the second official Dragonstar adventure/supplement, and here is is:
“Help me! They’re going to kill me!”
Spending a week or more on this insignificant speck of a planet could be worse. At least the bars and nightclubs are pretty good. You are on your way back to the motel after a night on the town when a young man comes running up to you, begging for help. He claims to have witnessed a kidnapping. The two gentlemen following him assure you that he is lying and trying to evade a gambling debt. Whom do you believe?
More awaits you on Drelga than a simple stopover on a larger route: intrigue and investigation, organized crime, shootouts in the street, hideous experiments, a high speed vehicle chase and, if you are both lucky and good, a glimpse of what lies at the Heart of the Machine.
Heart of the Machine is a new adventure/sourcebook for the Dragonstar campaign setting. Designed for 4th-level characters, it can be tailored to each gaming group using the Theme Box system. More than just an adventure, it contains new spells, weapons, equipment, robots, vehicles, spaceships, and even a new race. It also introduces the Chase Randomizer, providing a quick and easy method for determining hazards and obstacles during a high-speed chase.
