[PR-MEG] Tinkerer's Web enhancement for Bluffside: City on the Edge

MEG Hal

First Post
Tinkerer's web enhancement available in the vault for owners of Bluffside!

Based on the success of the free adventure "Right Under Our Noses", we have added the Tinkerer's web enhancement to the vault area, it helps fill out more information for the adventure plus fills in more detail on the Steam Gnomes seen in Bluffside: City on the Edge. If you own Bluffside go grab it, if you have not looked at the award nominated city yet, what have you been waiting for? Take a look at the city on the edge...you may not want to come back.

Check it out in the vault section at: http://thunderheadgames.com

Very nice enhancement.

One question though, if a tinker needed several people to help assemble something, like the elevator, wouldn't there be an increased chance of failure due to someone making a mistake during the assembling of the elevator?

Anna, complex rules such as that will probably come at a later date. This should probably be considered "tinkering lite". As for the question, you can use the existing rules for helpers and skills. Don't have the rules in front of me, but basically two or more people can work together, and I think the roll is checked with a +2 modifier. But, I agree that tinkering is probably more complex than that.

Hmmm, I like the enhancement but it look a lot like the old Netbook of Tinkering. (Eyes Netbook then Eyes the Enhancement) Hey did is that the same Curtis guy on both? :)

My other comment is:

Need more tinkerable items! :)

Tinkerable items? Use your imagination! :D

Of course, now that I'm typing this my imagination has just shut itself off for maintenance. ;)

Hmmm. How about a set of bellows for a forge operated by a pedal?

yes Curtis did both :D We tweaked it a bit and had it stat checked etc...but Curtis was the mastermind behind that netbook.

We are working on source material (sourcebook)around the gnomes so more info will be available....soon, no. But available.
