[PR] New Publisher!

You guys are kidding, right? When you start selling stuff in the same market as someone else of course you are competitors. None of us are giving this stuff away. I also like most of the publishers I have met but I am still competing with them. Competition and friendliness have nothing to do with each other. In other words, I hope you do well and I hope we do better. Anything else is hot air.

SHHHHhhhhh!!!!!!

D****T Jim, you're giving away trade secrets!!! Hal get him in line would you! :p

Actually from my persepctive, I hope everyone does equally well. By that I mean everyone puts out products that everyone will buy; good quality art, excellent writing, and in Print!

which means everyone that buys needs to get better jobs to afford everything out there. :p

And the sick part is, I personally own 272 D20 Products in print (and 6 non D20), so I do my part to support everyone. :)

I hope that's returned. ;)

272?

Zoinks... I was all proud of my insane collection of 203 d20 products.

heh, and that doesn't include the hundred or so PDF's I have (haven't bothered to count them, they just suck up a LOT of hard drive space).

We'll have to trade lists sometime. I put mine all in excel format by publisher, Title, Hard or Softcover, Genre, & game system.. Excel, for the lazy man! :p

Hmmmm. It could be the beginning of an evil plot by Mynex. Laying his plans for total world domination. But I have already put my plans in motion.

When you get things together let us know what your looking for in submissions. I should be able to find some time outside of PCGen.

That's good to hear!

I know of no book covering specific terrains. I'd probably buy a book on deserts in a heartbeat. Hopefully I'll still be running my campaign then...

I don't know of one that's already out there, but they're coming.

In addition to Hal's Dry Lands book, MonkeyGod Enterprises has a series of books scheduled -- well, perhaps planned would be a better word, since I don't know how far along any of these books may be just now -- to cover various environments. The first of them, Frost & Fur: An Explorer's Guide to the Frozen Lands should be out in January.

Other volumes are in the works to cover deserts, mountains, swamps, jungle, woodlands, etc. These are described by the publisher as 160+ page hardcovers, detailing environmental hazards and conditions as well as writeups of environmentally appropriate cultures (Eskimos and Slavs in the Arctic book, e.g.), and the inevitable feats, spells, and prestige classes.

You can read all about 'em on MonkeyGod's messageboards:
