This is very cool. I read through it last night. You have some pretty cool stuff in there. The art work is terrific, and really shows what the creature is. The background was kind of a surprise, but I can work it in. I think more of these books would be cool, though, I think I would try to get the cost down to about 2-2.50. (at $3 it is a good deal... but a bit less for one creature would be easier to handle). But, I would definately suggest more booklets like this, that go in-depth about the creature, it's origins, ecology, etc.

The only way I can think to get the cost down from $3 is to drop to about 12 pages and cut back on the art. I'd rather not do that since I feel that the sketches and art really help make this a creature that anyone can use.

The real success will be if I see this monster used in other D20 products.

Its alignement is listed as "Lawful Evil", and given the added page, shouldn't it be something like "Often Lawful Evil" ?

I'm actually surprised he has that much color artwork for so little money. The artist really gave him a break on that.
