Hope I answered your question.

Yes you did. Any thought of adding a little sidebar incorporating these into an existing setting?

Hadn't thought of that, but I think I certainly will now! Thanks.

That's great because after our products prove themselves as PDF's there is a very good chance they will appear in print. But not right away.

The way I see it, PDF is a way to get products available to you sooner, a way to market test products, and a way for me to be a d20 publisher without a lot of money.

I can see where you're coming from, and it's probably a sound marketing strategy--except when you run into a bull-headed freak like me, who despises PDFs. :-)

But I really like printed books, and I'd be willing to bet that I want my stuff on store shelves more than you do. :) So I hope to have you as a customer in the future.

Oh, you will. I have no interest in the monk or paladin books (I don't like 'class books' as a general rule.), but I wasn't at all kidding when I said 'Virgin Territory' was exactly the kind of product I'd buy. I'll just have to wait until it hits the shelves.

oh...er...and for future consideration, how 'bout a low-magic, monotheistic world? :-)

Darrell King

Just wondering how your Paladin sourcebook will be different from others out there, such as Forgotten Heroes: Paladin and Quintessential Paladin..

PDFs are very good. I don't really want to start a flame war but I would find a world without them much less fun (from a D&D perspective).

Things which would be good to see
*Interesting but correct stats (interesting I can get anywhere)
*maps, pictures of NPCs, things that the average DM can't produce easily on their own
*Non-linearity preferably with plot based built in scaling (so the characters can do a bunch of different things but the DM has a reason to increase the power of foes logically as the result of actions)
*weird situations both tatically (i.e. combat) and roleplaying. Ideally the PCs have to make hard choices and work with evil people to achieve their goals.
*NPCs with conflicting or complex modivations. Boilerplate evil-bad-guys are a staple of most games. And really boring.

I'd like to see detailed locations, complete with maps, histories and stated npc's/monsters. Also a complete pantheon of gods, with details on history, worshipers, church dogma, ect.
